KINILENS | The 165-year-old Kau Ong Yah Temple in Ampang is buzzing with those who are celebrating the Nine Emperor Gods Festival which started on Sept 25 and ends on Oct 4.

The Nine Emperor Gods Festival is a festival celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth month in the Chinese lunar calendar and it lasts for nine days.

Besides Malaysia, the festival is also celebrated in other Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore.
