KINILENS | The haj simulation programme for children, "Little Haj", was held in Maeps Serdang yesterday. The programme was the fourth of its kind since it was introduced in 2016.

The programme organised by Little Caliphs International Sdn Bhd was attended by 7,150 kindergarten children from around the Klang Valley and 780 teachers as mutawwif guides.

Little Haj's primary objectives are to educate and instil the values of the haj pilgrimage among six-year-old children.

Other than the circling a 10-feet replica of the Kaabah, the children were also taught how to wear ihram clothing, performing the wuquf at Mount Arafat, the stay at Muzdalifah and Mina, performing the jamrah, saei, and tahallul.
