KINILENS | After two gloomy years of celebrating festivities in the shadows of the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual Aidilfitri bazaar at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (Jalan TAR) and Jalan Masjid India is back in full swing.
Even though it is still Ramadan, city-dwellers throng the lively iconic street market to shop for all their Hari Raya essentials including clothes and food, to avoid congestion ahead of Eid which is expected to fall on May 3 this year.
Organised by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), the bazaar started operating on April 9 and will run until the eve of Hari Raya on May 2 from 12pm to 12am.
