Malaysian indigenous Mah Meri tribespeople in traditionally crafted masks as they head out to the sea during the 'Puja Pantai' ritual in Pulau Carey, Selangor.

During this annual thanksgiving ritual, the Mah Meri tribe, who are believed to be descendants of seafaring people, conduct prayers, perform traditional dances and make offerings to the sea.
