Hindu worshippers in Shah Alam gather at Sri Maha Mariamman Dhevasthanam temple as early as 7am to celebrate Deepavali.

However, temple prayers and rituals for the festival of lights this year were conducted under a new norm as most parts of the country is still under the conditional movement control order (MCO).

Only a maximum of 30 visitors are allowed inside the temple at any one time and regular sanitisation must be conducted.
