Kuala Lumpur Mayor Nor Hisham A Dahlan visits 181 homeless urbanites placed in a temporary shelter at Sentul Perdana Community Centre since Monday.

The homeless were taken off the streets and placed at the centre to facilitate compliance with the movement control order (MCO) that urges people to stay at home and break the chain of Covid-19 infections.

They are provided with basic amenities including a mattress, pillow and a personal hygiene kit.

Free food is also provided by local NGOs.
