The eighth edition of "Keretapi Sarong", in conjunction with Malaysia Day, returns with great joy despite the severe haze in Kuala Lumpur.

Keretapi Sarong is a flash mob event where members of the public discover and get acquainted with the city's train network by going through a set of curated routes while dressed in sarongs.

In addition to promoting unity, culture and sarong fashion, Keretapi Sarong also exposes participants to historic sites to raise public awareness about their historical significance.

Keretapi Sarong 2019 commemorates our independence and nationhood through the celebration of our fashion, heritage and city.
