Deepavali, the Festival of Lights which symbolises the triumph of good over evil, once again shines brightly throughout the country as the nation's Hindus together with friends and family gather to celebrate the festive occasion.

It's is a time for thanksgiving as well for the adults while the little children make full use of the opportunity to frolic and play together with their friends and relatives.

And, of course, Deepavali wouldn't be complete without a spread of the traditional delicacies with Malaysians from all walks of life donning their best as they make their way to the open houses of their Hindu friends in the true spirit of Bangsa Malaysia.
