'I love Rukun Negara'

A group of students wearing “I love Rukun Negara” t-shirts pose for a photograph during a Hari Bacaan Ikrar Rukun Negara event at Sekolah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 8 (2).

The Rukun Negara pledge outlines the country's core principles, and is aimed at fostering unity among the various races in Malaysia.

It was declared by the fourth Yang di-Pertuan Agong on Aug 31, 1970.
