Supporters light candles for PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim in conjunction with his 1,000th day in prison.

They had gathered at the Parliament entrance and marched to Dataran Merdeka on the night of Nov 6.

Anwar is presently serving a five-year jail sentence at Sungai Buloh prison for sodomy, a charge he claimed is politically motivated.

With good behaviour, he is expected to be released in the middle of next year.
