The Malaysian flag was flown at half-mast for two days until Sept 13.

This followed the passing of Kedah Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah on Sept 11.

Sultan Abdul Halim, who passed away at age 89, served as the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong twice, from 1970 to 1975 and 2011 to 2016.
