Nuan Nuan, the Malaysian-born panda cub, prepares to take a nap at the Giant Panda Conservation Centre in Zoo Negara on July 14.

She will be returning to China on her second birthday next month. The Malaysian government had cited the high cost of keeping her here.

Nuan Nuan was born to Xing Xing and Liang Liang, a giant panda pair which arrived in Malaysia on May 21, 2014 as part of China's "panda diplomacy".
