Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who is also Umno president, celebrates the party's 71st anniversary. Accompanying him are his wife Rosmah Mansor, former premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and other Umno leaders.
Some 80,000 supporters gathered at the newly-restored Bukit Jalil Stadium for the celebration on May 11.
Najib, in a spirited speech, said no other party could govern the nation for over 70 years while defending the rights of the Malays as well.
