Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria today reminded judges to arm themselves with legal knowledge which goes along with the development of current affairs in the world.

Delivering his speech at the elevation of 12 judges, he said the phenomenon of world without borders had seen rapid changes in the society with cases having global aspects.

Justice Arifin cited cases like terrorism, human trafficking and national security involving subversive elements across borders as some of the examples.
