PAS 'jin' vs Umno 'toyol'
Johor Umno deputy chief Nur Jazlan Mohamed took a swing at PAS calling them "jin politik" (political genies) for their allegedly duplicitous nature.
He told Umno not to be deceived by PAS' plans to rally in solidarity with Najib Abdul Razak, accusing them of trying to find a source of funding as Bersatu's accounts remain frozen.
PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari retorted by calling Nur Jazlan a toyol that follows its master's (DAP) orders.
Nur Jazlan had previously called on Pakatan Harapan to apologise for making various accusations against Umno but dropped the matter after Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said an apology was not necessary.

Social media licensing
At least one of the tech giants that previously kicked up a stink about the government’s social media licensing plan is coming to heel it seems.
According to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Meta-platforms Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are in the final stages of getting licensed.
X and Google, however, have yet to register for their social media platform licence.
X claimed it doesn't meet the 8 million user threshold, while Google has some issues with the classification aimed at YouTube.
WeChat and TikTok are already licensed, while Telegram is also in the midst of getting licensed.
