PM vents about Rosmah acquittal
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim appeared frustrated with criticism against him and his government over a court decision to acquit Rosmah Mansor.
He asked if those pressuring him wanted him to interfere with the judiciary.
During his rant, Anwar also said that some corruption cases post-2018 were rushed, flawed, and politically vindictive.
This has in turn led to questions as to why Anwar never voiced such concerns back then.
HIGHLIGHTS
Anwar wants Fahmi free
Anwar said that he disagreed with graphic artist Fahmi Reza being investigated or charged.
Fahmi is under probe over a caricature of newly appointed Sabah governor Musa Aman - whom he labelled the state's "Number 1 corruptor".
Separately, Bangi MP Syahredzan Johan wants a moratorium on probes and charges over satire, which will be allowed under amendments to the Communications and Multimedia Act which are not yet in force.
