Anwar and the police punch
Back in 1998, Malaysians were in shock after a punch by a cop landed on Anwar Ibrahim, giving him his now-infamous black eye.
Fast-forward 26 years and Malaysians are currently in shock and anger over a punch by a different cop against deaf e-hailing driver Ong Ing Keong.
It has been almost four months since Ong was assaulted - an incident that was caught on camera - but justice still eludes him.
Anwar, however, cautioned that investigations take time and that the public shouldn’t “pass judgment” before the probe is completed.

BN worries about Chinese votes
The spat between Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh and Seputeh MP Teresa Kok may be "over", but its impact on the Mahkota by-election is still being felt.
The incident is being used in poison-pen letters that DAP is accusing PN of sending to rile up Chinese voters.
Meanwhile, Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the business community had informed him that Chinese voters are not interested in casting their ballots this Saturday.
