Umno pines for Najib
Delegates at the Umno general assembly grieved for another year over Najib Abdul Razak's absence, with some even shedding tears.
The party maintains that the former premier jailed for corruption must be freed.
And it will keep voicing it out, even if its allies in Pakatan Harapan oppose Najib being freed.

Charting Umno's future
Najib aside, Umno leaders appear at odds on whether to continue cooperating with Harapan in the next general election.
Party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi appears keen to steer Umno towards cooperation, which the grassroots are warming up to.
However, his deputy Mohamad Hasan and youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh appear to feel otherwise and favour going solo.

T'ganu exco fumes at divers
Terengganu's exco in charge of sports is not happy.
The state government had barred Muslim female athletes from competing in gymnastics and diving due to non-syariah-compliant dress codes.
However, two Terengganu-based ladies dove anyway in the Sukma games which took place in Sarawak.
Hishamuddin Abdul Karim now wants to know how this could have happened and will summon the state's sports council and the Terengganu Amateur Swim Association for a detailed explanation.
