Najib claims allowed house arrest
Former premier Najib Abdul Razak is alleging that the previous Yang di-Pertuan Agong has given him additional clemency.
On top of the reduced sentence granted to him, Najib claimed that the former king had on Jan 29 issued an addendum to the Pardons Board decision, which allowed him to be placed under house arrest.
A critical witness will reportedly back up Najib's claim in court.
He has filed a court order seeking to compel various government representatives to confirm the addendum.
Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail - one of the respondents Najib named - however, claimed to be in the dark on the addendum.

Umno tells Akmal to stop
The Umno supreme council has reportedly told party youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh to stop playing up the KK Mart issue.
Bung Moktar Radin claimed that Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told Akmal to drop it.
However, it is unclear when the supreme council decided to rein in the youth chief.
Previously, it had voiced its full support for Akmal on the matter.
Separately, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar granted an audience to KK Mart founder Chai Kee Kan, with the latter again apologising over the socks scandal.
The king, in turn, warned all quarters to stop trying to incite the people on this issue.

No report, no probe
Police have not investigated a photo of Akmal wielding a Japanese sword because no police reports were lodged.
This is after a senator questioned why no action had been taken.
Akmal had posted a photo of himself holding the katana and vowing never to waver on March 14, one day after the discovery of the "Allah" socks at KK Mart.
However, at the time, Akmal was mostly embroiled in a verbal battle over vernacular schools.
He only made his first post about the KK Mart issue on March 15.
