PN 'censures' Mahathir
Perikatan Nasional leaders, including coalition chief Muhyiddin Yassin, disagreed with Dr Mahathir Mohamad's assertion that Malaysian Indians were not loyal to the country.
This was relayed by Gerakan president Dominic Lau, who said he had raised the matter during PN's supreme council meeting on Friday.
However, there was no mention of this censure in a statement by PN secretary-general Hamzah Zainuddin to recap the meeting, nor has there been any direct statement from Muhyiddin or other non-Gerakan PN leaders rebuking Mahathir.
As for whether Mahathir would be removed as an advisor to PN states, Lau said that was not discussed as it was an unrelated matter.

DNAA window for Najib
There may be a window of opportunity for Najib Abdul Razak to file for an acquittal or discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) in September.
This is regarding his second SRC International corruption case, which involves RM27 million.
The High Court told Najib that he could apply for an acquittal or DNAA in September if prosecutors do not decide by then on his representation to drop the second case.
Otherwise, the trial for this case will finally begin after years of postponements due to the former premier's other criminal cases.

Taib to retire?
Speculation is rife that Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar is set to become the next Sarawak governor.
While Wan Junaidi and others have downplayed the rumours, he has tendered his resignation as Senate president.
If the speculations are true, this might mean that the current Sarawak governor Abdul Taib Mahmum may be retiring after a long career in politics.
Taib, who will be turning 88 this year, was Sarawak's chief minister for 33 years from 1981 to 2014.
He then ascended as the seventh Sarawak governor in 2014.
He was reappointed for a third term in 2022 - for only two years instead of a full four-year term - with the tenure set to expire at the end of February.
