Salahuddin passes away
Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Salahuddin Ayub passed away on Sunday night.
He was rushed to a hospital in Alor Setar on Friday, after which, doctors detected he had a brain haemorrhage.
The Amanah deputy president will be laid to rest in his home town of Tanjung Piai, Johor today.
He was 61 years old.

The positive feelings at the Good Vibes Festival did not last for long after its first headliner, British band 1975, took to stage.
In an allegedly intoxicated rant, the band's singer Matt Healy railed against the government for being anti-LGBTQ+ before then kissing his bassist.
The show on Friday night was then cut short, and the next day, the government cancelled the festival, which was supposed to be on until Sunday.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad's latest act sees the nonagenarian turning green to grace the stage of a PAS ceramah in Kelantan on Friday.
Mahathir and PAS have a long history of animosity, dating back to his first tenure as prime minister.
Now, however, Mahathir wants PAS - and PN - to make a clean sweep in the upcoming six state elections in a show of Malay unity.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will announce several fixed remunerations for civil servants, including teachers, in the next week or two.
