D-Day for Anwar
Parliament will convene today and determine the fate of Anwar Ibrahim as prime minister through a vote of confidence.
Anwar is expected to pass the test - after the parties that form the government signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) to ensure support for him.
However, the terms of the MOA - particularly that government MPs who vote against the prime minister will lose their seats - have ruffled feathers, even within Anwar's party PKR.
But before the vote of confidence takes place, MPs will have to elect a new Dewan Rakyat speaker first.
Malaysiakini will be giving live updates on today's Parliament proceedings.
