First floods of GE15
The 15th general election is in full swing, and so is the monsoon season.
The day before nominations, several villages on the outskirts of Taiping were hit by flash floods.
Then early Sunday, several parts of Tanjong Karang were also flooded - and soon become a campaigning point for several election candidates.
Expect more floods as the monsoon season in the country moves on.

Rogue candidates
Rogue candidates are abound this general election.
From Umno, Arau and Maran incumbents Shahidan Kassim and Ismail Abd Mutallib are now contesting the seats for Perikatan Nasional - after they were axed as BN candidates.
Padang Besar incumbent Zahidi Zainul Abidin, meanwhile, is contesting as an independent.
An Umno man in Tanjong Karang is also contesting independently to protest BN's decision not to field incumbent Noh Omar.
Noh himself and other dropped BN incumbents including Annuar Musa and Tajuddin Abdul Rahman, however, have made peace with their fates and are expressing public support for their successors.
Meanwhile, BN is also fielding Kuala Nerus incumbent Khairuddin Aman Razali - who quit PAS in March.
Over on Pakatan Harapan's side, former Batu MP Tian Chua (above) is contesting as an independent too, after PKR decided not to field him in the seat.
PN's Ronald Kiandee also broke ranks and is contesting under the coalition's logo, after the Sabah BN-GRS coalition decided not to field him in his Beluran seat.

PN offerings
PN has unveiled its manifesto, which among others pledges to introduce a zero-interest housing loan programme for youths, as well as a reduction on PTPTN loans for second-class graduates.
PN is also promising to allocate over RM10 billion for various funds and initiatives, including technology investments, agriculture output, school maintenance and environmental tourism.
BN will launch its manifesto tonight, while the Harapan manifesto was released last week.

Once a local BN hero, PN’s Masjid Tanah incumbent Mas Ermieyati Samsudin is now struggling to woo supporters who are adamant on voting along party lines.
PN's candidate for Machang Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal believes he can do better than the BN incumbent.
He also recently apologised over old tweets attacking PAS - as he is now contesting under this party's logo.
A riot broke out in Tenom on nomination day after Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) president Peter Anthony's nomination was rejected.
He was arrested and later released on police bail over the incident.
Peter - who is currently appealing a criminal conviction - claims there were "hidden hands" behind EC's rejection of his nomination.
PBM's Paul Yong sent his son Bryan to defend his Tronoh seat. Yong is appealing a conviction over rape allegations.
