Najib's family win back raided goods
Remember the scenes of police carting boxes after boxes of handbags, luxury goods and cash during a raid on properties linked to former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak's family in 2018?
Najib and his family are set to get them back.
This was after the High Court in Kuala Lumpur dismissed the prosecution's forfeiture suit against them.
Judge Mohamed Zaini Mazlan said while large amounts of money entering Najib's bank accounts had raised question marks, the prosecution failed to prove a link between 1MDB-linked funds and the seized items.
"I cannot find guilt based on suspicion alone," he said.
Shortly after the raid in 2018, police announced that it took 22 bank officers three days to count 35 bags of cash totalling RM114 million.
This was on top of another 37 bags of jewellery, watches and other goods as well as 284 handbags.

Malacca polls drama
Campaigning for the Malacca polls kicked off with the conclusion of the nomination process, which did not yield major surprises as the candidates for the main coalitions filed their papers according to what was previously announced. Malaysiakini highlighted them here.
However, it was an eventful start with some drama.
Umno's Tanjung Bidara candidate Ab Rauf Yusoh turned up at the nomination centre with an entourage that included former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak, despite a ban on gatherings due to Covid-19, prompting a PKR MP to nudge authorities to fine them.
Police said they've received a report on the matter as well as a similar incident at the Telok Mas nomination centre.
Meanwhile, MCA's candidate for Kesidang Leong Hui Ying became the subject of online attacks over her Bahasa Malaysia fluency during an interview, prompting her to appear in another video to rebut the claim.
In Duyong, the Gan political dynasty that had produced a line of prominent MCA politicians saw a family drama after one of them decided to contest as an independent against BN. MCA had surrendered the seat to Umno.
In Asahan, where Idris Haron is contesting under Pakatan Harapan's banner, the ex-Umno leader stopped short of endorsing Amanah's Adly Zahari's as the coalition's chief ministerial candidate. Adly was Harapan's chief minister from 2018 to 2020.
Idris said anyone, including himself or Adly, can be the chief minister but stressed that they must first win a majority.
If you missed Malaysiakini's live reports on the nomination process, you can find them here.

Nagaenthran execution delayed
Malaysian Nagaenthran K Dharmalingam who is supposed to be executed in Singapore tomorrow for trafficking 42.72g of diamorphine, will be given more time.
This was after the High Court in Singapore granted a stay of execution pending a constitutional challenge mounted by his legal team in Singapore.
However, N Surendran, who is presenting Nagaenthran's family in Malaysia, criticised Singapore's Court of Appeal for setting today to hear the constitutional challenge.
He argued that it was unreasonable to expect Nagaenthran's lawyers in Singapore to build a proper case overnight.
Nagaenthran's planned execution had come under criticism due to his mild intellectual disability.
Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob has also made a personal appeal to his Singapore counterpart to spare Nagaenthran of the death penalty.
