Int'l laws protecting kids 'mere words' amid Israeli onslaught - rights expert

An international rights expert said Saturday that international laws and agreements designed to protect children are meaningless in the face of ongoing crimes and violations committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinian children, Palestine News and Info Agency (Wafa) reported.

In a statement, Ayed Abu Eqtaish, Director of the Accountability Programme at Defence for Children International, said, “These crimes occur in full view of the world, with no intervention to protect, turning international laws into mere words in the face of Israel’s criminal machine.”
