An AirAsia flight heading to Shenzhen, China had to make an emergency turnback to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA) after one of its two engines caught fire last night.

According to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, the Airbus A320-216 aircraft carrying 171 passengers and crew departed for Shenzhen at 9.59pm before it sustained a "pneumatic ducting burst".
