Former Dewan Negara president Rais Yatim has reportedly lodged a police report against a pro-China reunification group, questioning whether it is spreading communist ideology in Malaysia.

According to PAS' mouthpiece Harakah Daily, Rais held a press conference yesterday, stating that he received a 2 minute 57 second video the night before about an NGO dubbed the ‘Persatuan Promosi Penyatuan Secara Aman Satu China di Malaysia’ (Malaysian Association for Promotion of the Peaceful Reunification of China).
