I must say that the minister is not dumb as you think. He is smart enough to call for building a new jetty. In this way, the minister or his cronies can get another project and make a lot more money.

This is how the country being run. The politician, BN and Umnoputra will use whatever excuses available to make money for themselves. Do you think they really care about how many people died? What's more important to them to see how to turn an issue to a money-making opportunity for them.

We know what must be done to ease traffic congestion. The question is who should get the contracts to build additional roads. We also understand the need for insurance cover and health checks for bus drivers. The issue is how to make use of the tragedy of a bus crash to privatise the service of such health checks (the e-Kesihatan scheme) to a single crony party.

We have only two choices left - beat them or join them.
