The Perak state executive council has not discussed Ipoh City Council’s proposal to expand alcoholic beverage sales restrictions to other areas with a Muslim majority composition, said Perak Housing and Local Government executive councillor Sandrea Ng.

This comes after Ipoh mayor Rumaizi Baharin said his team is mulling the proposal following recommendations from several quarters.
