MOH collects blood samples from Orang Asli living downriver from iron mines

The Health Ministry has collected blood samples and conducted health screenings on Kelantan Orang Asli living downriver from two iron ore mines that were ordered to halt their operations mid-last month, pending investigations into potential heavy metal pollution.

The Gua Musang Health Department posted on its Facebook page that a comprehensive health outreach programme was conducted in Kampung Kelaik, Gua Musang, Kelantan on Wednesday.
