Provisional anti-dumping duties ranging from 2.52 percent to 36.8 percent will be imposed on imports of flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, with a width of 600mm or more, clad, plated, or coated with tin (tinplate) originating or exported from China, India, Japan, and South Korea.
In a statement today, the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry said the move is necessary to prevent further injury to the domestic industry and shall be effective between Jan 11, 2025, for not more than 120 days.
