The number of dead from the severe earthquake in the region around Mount Everest rose to 95 on Tuesday, reported German news agency (dpa), citing China’s state news agency Xinhua.

A further 130 people were injured by the quake in the Tibet autonomous region of China, the agency reported in the afternoon.
