The Malacca government’s official portal and the Malacca Tourism Portal will feature artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots to reduce response time to enquiries, even after office hours, the state assembly sitting was told today.
State Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Communications Committee chairperson Fairul Nizam Roslan said the use of AI technology would not only speed up communication with the Tourism Promotion Division (BPP) and public enquiries to the Corporate Communications Division, but also provide more efficient and effective support, in line with the aspiration to strengthen the government’s service delivery system.
