A 49-year-old woman working as a cashier at a restaurant in a shopping mall in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, was stabbed to death yesterday afternoon.

Cheras district police chief Aidil Bolhassan said seven suspects, all colleagues of the victim, have been arrested to assist in the investigation into the incident, which occurred between 3 and 4pm.
