The minimum wage in Selangor will be standardised at RM1,700 next year, aligning with implementation at the federal level, said State Human Resources and Poverty Eradication Committee chairperson V Papparaidu.

He said this will be enforced through various approaches, in collaboration with stakeholders such as the Labour Department, statutory bodies, and the private sector in the state.
