Malaysia is a democratic country and not a communist nation that blocks the media.

Let the media run its course, and if any of it is not true, by all means, sue the media for compensation.

If you block the videos, people will become more suspicious about the cause and speculation will lead to fake news floating everywhere that can hurt the right judgment.

Malaysiakini was mainly instrumental in advancing the PKR and making it a major part of the ruling party. Now they want (though they deny it) to take down Malaysiakini because the ruling coalition cannot cover up the misdeed quickly enough.

Enough! I ask all voters not to vote for PKR in the 16th general election. Just continue to support whatever party you have supported in the past. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and PKR have done enough damage.

Just imagine, to investigate the brutality of Israeli soldiers killing ordinary Palestinian people, the United Nations orders the Palestinians and all world press agencies to take down their online videos and photos of those bombed buildings, bleeding, suffering, and dying images of Palestinians so that it would not affect the United Nations' ongoing investigations?

But now you are in power, you say the media cannot report corruption. What law is the media breaking?

Is saying "it will compromise the investigation" enough? Compromise how? Can reporting corruption harm investigations?

Then so many media in so many countries have been harming investigations for years.

This is so that if the platforms aren't willing to comply, they can start blocking the whole platform left and right.

Mat M Din: The exposure of new videos regarding the corruption scandals is an attempt to confuse the issue.

MACC should detain those suspected of being incriminated with giving and accepting bribery and subject them to a thorough investigation.

Those suspected of committing the crime should be brought swiftly to court.

Do not allow the corruptors to produce new videos to cloud the matter and cause more confusion.

Ranjit Singh Malhi: Just let the police do their job. Similarly, leave Malaysiakini alone to report the truth.
