Malaysia has welcomed the proposed US$14.7 billion investment by United States technology giants - Google, Microsoft, Enovix Corporation, Amazon Web Services, Abbott Laboratories, and Boeing.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim conveyed this matter during his bilateral meeting with US secretary of state Antony Blinken on the sidelines of the 44th and 45th Asean summits and related summits in Vientiane, Laos yesterday.
