The docking of two Chinese naval ships at the Penang Port does not pose a threat to national security, said Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil.

Fahmi, who is the government’s spokesperson, explained that warships from other countries often dock at Malaysian ports, but all are done in accordance with protocols set by the Foreign Ministry and with the knowledge of the Defence Ministry.
