Umno will leave the purported addendum issue on Najib Abdul Razak’s bid for house arrest to party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

A member of the party supreme council, who declined to be named, also said the council praised Zahid’s bold move in submitting an affidavit to defend the former Umno supremo.

“We defer to the president after the court makes its decision on June 5.
