The wife of Amri Che Mat lodged a police report last night to locate a witness who purportedly saw the activist’s abduction as part of an enforced disappearance nearly eight years ago.

Norhayati Mohd Ariffin told the Kuala Lumpur High Court today that she lodged the report at the Sentul police station in order to trace Saiful Afdzan Senei, a potential witness who could strengthen her related lawsuit against the police and government over her husband going missing on Nov 24, 2016.
