People’s Progressive Party (MyPPP) senior vice-president Loga Bala Mohan will assume the position of acting president following the death of party president Maglin Dennis D'Cruz yesterday.

MyPPP secretary-general Inder Singh Beant Singh said this is in accordance with Clause 9.10 of the party constitution which stipulates that the senior vice-president will be acting as president should the position fall vacant.
