The construction of five littoral combat ships (LCS) is expected to be completed in 2029, compared to the original contract, where the assets were supposed to be delivered in 2022.

A Public Accounts Committee (PAC) report published on the official Parliament website stated that the LCS construction period has been extended to 83 months.
