The start of the 10-year jail sentence for former Goldman Sachs banker Roger Ng in the United States has been postponed to Oct 6.

US prosecutors had applied for the postponement to allow more time for discussions with Putrajaya regarding the possibility of letting Ng stand trial in Malaysia first.
