Muhyiddin wants ballots of anger, tells voters state polls a referendum
Newday: Why are you perpetually angry Muhyiddin?
Angry at your incompetence because you were in power when prices of necessities started going through the roof?
Angry because you didn’t come up with the idea of a cheap meal programme?
Angry just because you are angry that you can never come up with a decent idea to progress the country?
Stop being so emotional. You will forever be condemned to be in the opposition.
Clever voter: The unity government is less than a year old. Overturning bad legacies takes time.
Muhyiddin was part of the problem. His tainted comrades made it worse.
So what referendum is he talking about? He is part of a racist coalition that insists on bluffing the voters, inciting uncertainty and being disrespectful to minorities.
State elections are about bread-and-butter issues, there is already stability but addressing long-term structural economic and social developments takes time.
Muhyiddin is not part of the future, he offers destruction rather than adding value.
IndigoTrout2522: Yes, the election is a referendum but for an efficient and stable government, a government that cares for the people and manages the economy for growth, jobs and control of inflation.
The current government has shown its commitment to a better tomorrow. Who would want to vote for a failed prime minister like Muhyiddin?

He was the first among a small group of schemers from Sheraton Move to betray the government for their greed for power and position.
They didn’t care for the people, economy and health of the people with the then onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Voters should continue to vote for the coalition at the state level to continue the stability between state and federal governments.
Variant: All politicians are like this, banging on about price increases and terrible exchange rates. When they get in power, what do they do?
They print even more money, devaluing the currency, so things become more expensive and exchange rates become even worse.
Muhyiddin, you have to do better than this.
Let’s talk about policy. What policy initiatives will you implement? I hope politicians will stop trying to divide people according to their household income.
Just a Malaysian: Inflation, high cost of living, and stagnant income are signs of a weak economic foundation caused by years of neglect, abuse and wastage.
With global inflation affecting every country on the globe, Muhyiddin is talking nonsense about the government solving this problem in six months.
What formula does Muhyiddin have? Borrow billions and give handouts, misuse the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and reduce interest rates.
With our RM1.5 trillion debt, if we do not restructure our economic foundations and continue to give and give, we are looking at a Sri Lanka-type crisis very soon.
As a party that claims to be God-fearing, this is pure dishonesty of the leaders.
We cannot afford any more types of social charity based on borrowings. The pain must be endured and overcome.
apanama is back: Some commentators have written about the community-based white flag campaign during the Covid-19 pandemic and how former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin belittled it and told them to hang a blue flag instead.
We can criticise and condemn Muhyiddin because of his failure during his tenure, but he is exploiting the cost of living issue.
What is the unity government doing? How are they going to counter this narrative?
Remember folks, and be honest with yourselves. The present government is providing bullets. I mean free bullets and scoring its own goals for PN to capitalise on.
I will list some of them down and hope the government will have a team to counter them both offline and online:
1. Cost of living
3. Issues with the Human Resources Ministry.
4. Littoral combat ship (LCS) -why was Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman's request to debate the issue in Parliament not allowed? Don't tell me about the speaker's letter/ruling. I watched it. PN will spin it because a lot of people do not watch Parliament proceedings.
5) Muhyiddin plays the victim of his court cases, while Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's case is being delayed/postponed.
While we all dig up Muhyiddin's old stories of incompetence, he is attacking the government.
Moreover, Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun has some issues in the state.
To the government, counter all the accusations or you will pay a heavy price in the coming six state elections.
A lot of people have short memories. Remember, PN won 74 seats at the 15th general election. You could see how the "mudah lupa" (easily forget) phenomenon had attacked some even last November.
By July or August this year, more people will "lupa" (forget) and be complacent. They never learn.
I can only warn you here. Do not underestimate PN in the coming six state elections.
Pakatan Harapan is guilty of using such rhetoric by banging on the subsidy issue and which group benefits.
Stop pretending that what happens to one group won’t affect the other. It absolutely will.
We live in a society where everyone is reliant on each other. If the powers that be cannot help everyone (which in my opinion, they can’t), then just leave everyone alone.

Billions of ringgit of the rakyat’s money were spent and we have no idea where it has gone.
I am angry because someone used the emergency declaration to stay in power despite losing legitimacy.
