Veteran mountaineer T Ravichandran has successfully set a new record as the first Malaysian to conquer Mount Everest three times but was rushed to the hospital for frostbite in his subsequent attempt to take on Mount Lhotse.

Ravichandran was part of the Himalaya Sport Everest-Lhotse Expedition 2023 and was aiming to conquer both mountains exceeding the height of 8,000m within 24 hours.
