The bill related to the abolition of the mandatory death penalty in the country will be tabled for first reading at the Dewan Rakyat next month.

Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Ramkarpal Singh (above) said the bill was expected to be passed in April and gazetted by May.
