COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 1,161 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.

Active cases currently stood at 16,811, down 30.1 percent compared to 14 days ago.

New cases according to states are as follows:

Another 3 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday.

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, a total of 36,787 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.

There have been 103 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 209 deaths last month and 101 deaths in October.

There are 1,004 Covid-19 patients who are hospitalised of which 58 are in intensive care.

The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (94) followed by Sabah (51) and Perak (29).
