COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 2,375 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday.

Active cases stood at 24,467, down 11.7 percent compared to 14 days ago.

New cases according to states are as follows:

Another 11 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which two were declared as "brought in dead".

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, 36,695 deaths have been attributed to Covid-19.

There were 209 deaths last month and 101 deaths in October.

There are 1,739 Covid-19 patients hospitalised of which 91 are in intensive care.

The highest number of admissions yesterday was recorded in Selangor (114) followed by Sabah (52) and Kedah (49).
