The Negeri Sembilan chapter of Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) has nominated Abdul Hamid Bador to contest the Rembau parliamentary seat, where the former top cop would be facing Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan.

State GTA deputy chairperson Mohamad Jani Ismail was quoted by a Malay daily as saying that they have submitted the names of the former inspector-general of police (IGP) to the coalition’s top leadership for Hamid to contest in the forthcoming 15th general election.
