Activist Jay Jay Denis has been detained by police over a tweet last month concerning Malacca governor Mohd Ali Rustam.

In the Sept 6 tweet, he claimed to have witnessed a convoy with police outriders and escort vehicles blocking traffic on the Sprint Highway to perform a U-turn.
